About Tim Moor MA  LRPS & EHF Fellow

Tim lives on Waiheke island, New Zealand with his lovely wife Georgie and two wonderful children.

He studied product design at Northumbria University, Newcastle prior to working for the UK Government (MOD), researching and designing new high performance gas masks for the military. All of Tim’s inventions are either in production or clinical trial stage and span across fields from consumer goods to medical devices. He holds a BA (HONS) degree and a masters (MA) in Design Practice and has received eight national and international awards for his designs.

...Sounds great but what has this got to do with photography?

Up to this point, Tim had developed a particular way of design thinking that delivered innovative and creative outcomes. Combine this with his technical understanding of how a camera functions and works, he has a solid foundation to work from.

Then in 2013 Tim had an accident and near death experience when a car hit him at speed whilst cycling. During rehabilitation he found photography became a wonderful comfort and therapy. He invested in a Canon 5D MKIII in 2014 with specialist lenses and filters and has not put his camera down ever since (although the model has changed!). Tim has always loved photography as a hobby but this has grown into a deep passion. He finds it thrilling trying to plan and capture a moment that can be portrayed in a particular way and remembered that reflects the essence and spirit of the brief, or, to create a scene that has an emotional impact.

Photography means everything and Tim will put everything into capturing that perfect image for you. Please get in touch.
